When I was asked by this local business to implement their new branding program to the web - I was stoked! Especially since they're also from Vancouver. Social Intranet Summit

This is a mini-site for an upcoming industry conference hosted by ThoughtFarmer. I often get to work with ThoughtFarmer and OpenRoad Communications, especially since we're now neighbours in Gastown, the birthplace of Vancouver. Web Design for GreenMENA, a Eco-friendly organization in the Middle East

GreenMENA

The design for GreenMENA had to be easy and quick to port to a BuddyPress install. This would allow users to register, manage a profile and author individual blogs that stemmed from the same site. The design portion of the project was very heavy on creating unique styles for profile pics, menu items, buttons and all that fun stuff. I skinned every last piece of their UI and it was muchos fun! A design concept for a new type of fitness club. The design really plays off of their branding with bright, vibrant orange. I tried keeping everything really simple and sparse to highlight the necessary information - there's more tucked into the corners so check out the full screenshot.

I teamed up with PatrickOrtman, Inc., a wonderful agency in LA, to create a unique design for the web presence of Mary Schook. The project included the design and strategy for the blog and store. Web Design for EcoApprentice - Eco-friendly initiative

EcoApprentice

I worked extensively on this project, wrangling in the design from an ambitious brief, to help students, teachers and schools meet classroom needs for apprenticeship training while saving the planet through local businesses. It's an awesome idea from a great guy down in Washington State, Richard Halpern. The design was made to be organic but clean. Students had to feel this was serious but real and in touch with their ambitions. The final design includes internal profile management and social networking capabilities.

PatrickOrtman, Inc.

Patrick runs a great agency down in LA with a crew devoted to creating great social media campaigns, web work and TV/Video projects. He asked if I'd bring my skills to the table to help update their brand online. With his input, I handled the design and development of their site which features a customized streaming video player, lots of jQuery effects and transparency which gives the agency a casual, cool and competent look for their potential clients.

What kind of work do you do?

I mostly handle web design projects for digital agencies, marketers and developers who know what to do with a nicely crafted design in Photoshop. That’s where I do my best work and give the best value to my clients. I routinely handle projects that range from art direction in the form of a homepage and subpage template design to full-blown designs including multiple unique page layouts, detailed UI design and logo/identity creation.

How can we pay you?

I always obtain a 50% deposit before starting work and require full payment before sending files. This allows me to concentrate on design and other right-brained tasks and not get bogged down with complicated terms. I usually work with contract amounts to make things simple and straightforward. You can pay my invoices through VISA, Mastercard, PayPal or bank transfer.
